Hyaluronic acid is a very popular skincare ingredient you see every celebrity talking about. But what is actually hyaluronic acid? It is a humectant, it is an anti-aging and hydrating ingredient that exists on our skin. It has the ability of retaining and boosting moisture onto the skin.

There are a lot of hyaluronic acid serums and moisturizers on the market and this ingredient is presented in almost every skincare product. One of the most popular serums is 300 $ which is insane for a serum so basic as a hyaluronic acid serum if you want a good one you don't have to pay that much there are expensive ones like 40 or 50 or even 100$ sometimes and 10$ which are great. For me I wouldn't pay that much for a hyaluronic acid serum but because I know there are people with a different philosophy I will include some amazing ones on a higher price.

So let's begin the list so you can choose the best one for you.

  • Neutrogena Hydro Boost serum:

This is a very popular line of the brand, the moisturizer is one of my all-time favorite face creams. This serum is great because it is very easy to find, the price is only 17€.

It contains niacinamide, vitamin E, panthenol, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, propanediol (improves absorption of the ingredients), red algae (an antioxidant), and arginine (a hydrating antioxidant).

  • The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid serum:

The brand became popular for its quality and price. "The rival of The Ordinary".

This was the first hyaluronic serum I tried and really liked it because at that time my skin was really dry and this helped a lot for a serum that only cost me 7€.

What I love about this one is that it not only is anti-aging and hydrating but also great for sensitive skin. It's also really easy to find, it's one of the cheapest good quality brands at Sephora. The thing that most attracts me to this product is that it contains peptides that combined with hyaluronic acid fights and prevent wrinkles really well.

  • Vichy Mineral 89:

Another cult product is from the french pharmacy. As a European, I grew up around the french pharmacy cosmetic and love it. The first products I used were from Avène and La Roche Posay, Bioderma, so for me, this one is a must. This 25€ serum not only hydrates but because of its vulcanic mineral water boosts and strengths the skin barrier. It is best for people that tend to have their barrier compromised and want to strengthen it.

  • Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum:

From Pinterest

This is a k-beauty brand used by Kourtney Kardashian. This serum is 40$ and contains amazing ingredients such as peptides, hyaluronic acid, of course, madecassoide (from Centella Asiatica), and niacinamide. The product will give you "glass" skin, hydrated, glowy, protected skin, and young skin.

  • SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator:

From Pinterest

This is a luxury serum used by Hailey Bieber, Madonna, and Chris Appleton. This one is 185$ and contains antioxidants like grapes, hyaluronic acid, other hydrating ingredients, peptides, and vitamin E.

This serum is a boost to your skin, it rejuvenates and hydrates every skin type. It doesn't have a fragrance which is great for sensitive skin.

  • SkinCeuticals hyaluronic acid serum:

From Pinterest

SkinCeuticals is a popular expensive brand loved by dermatologists and celebrities.

Its price is 100$ for 30 ml. If you struggle with sensitive, dry areas on the face this really helps and you can use it even if you have acne-prone skin. It promotes healthier-looking younger skin because of the hyaluronic acid and licorice root extract (a powerful antioxidant).

But if you want dupes for this brand, try the Maleove serums (also loved by dermatologists).
