I don't know about you but I am obsessed with Vogue Beauty Secrets, they are my favorite videos to watch, I watch and rewatch and recreate them. It's always the thing I watch to relax after a shower and go to bed with a cup of hot tea.
We all know that these videos exist for years but we always learn new things and about new products. It's true that now we see them doing things they saw on TikTok too but still, there are always things they learned from their makeup artists and dermatologists.
Because some of them have already done more than one or did for Vogue France or British Vogue for example I will put the year in front of the name.
So let's start!
Hailey Bieber: (2018 and 2022)
The model loves to start her makeup with hydrating skincare products and reusable eye masks, but she puts a little bit of peptide serum under her eye masks.
She applies her glowy foundation with her hands to look more natural and mixes it with her hydrating serum.
Hailey doesn't use a lot of concealer under the eyes (it creates a more natural look and doesn't crease that way), and she also uses concealer on certain areas of the face to create a lifting look.
With bronzer or contour, she says she puts a little on the cheeks and nose too and so it looks, tanner. One thing important for her is to use cream products as she has dry skin.
For blush, she uses baby pink colors, first the cream and then topping it up with a powder one.
Hailey uses mascara only on her upper lashes and uses eyeshadow colors that go well with her eye color. She says that for her more natural is the best. The Rhode founder does her eyebrows really minimally and only uses brow gel.
She overlines only the upper lip and always uses gloss to finish her lips. Hailey uses powder as her last step, only on the t-zone.
Iris Law: (2023)
The model uses a cream cleanser in the morning and a fragrance-free moisturizer as she has problematic skin. She takes CBD drops to help with her anxiety directly in the mouth. Iris says she puts her Caudalie mist on the fridge and uses it since she was 13.
She uses the Nuxe oil on her neck as perfume.
Iris blends her concealer with her fingers and applies her eyeshadow with her fingers too and uses mattifying papers before applying the powder.
Nicola Peltz: (2021)
Nicola says she avoids the sun and always uses sunscreen (a tip she learned from her mom). She sleeps with pimple patches whenever her skin is breaking out. The actress puts her eye masks on the fridge for a cooling sensation in the morning.
Nicola tells that her mom has amazing skin because she drinks a lot of water and eats really healthily but for her, the most important thing is clean her brushes and not touch the skin, as the bacterias always make her break out.
She uses just a little bit of foundation and right after that she puts on eyeliner and takes off the excess with the Bioderma micellar water on the same brush she uses to draw it.
Nicola uses an orangy concealer to conceal the darkness under her eyes.
For her brows, she first uses her soap brow and then a pencil. When it comes to bronzer she applies it higher than most people with a foundation brush.
Because the foundation covers her beauty marks, she goes back with her brow pencil and highlights them again.
The actress uses a highlighter on her eyes that looks like the glow from her lipgloss so they can match.
She puts some glowy primer on her cheeks as the last step of her makeup.
Madison Beer: (2021)
Madison starts her skincare with a benzol peroxide cleanser to help with her acne and follows with a moisturizing toner, which she applies directly to her hands. Then she massages her skin with a jade roller and applies a ceramide moisturizer. (Madison doesn't use sunscreen but never forget to use yours)
To start the makeup she puts eye cream and a face mist and follows with a tinted moisturizer.
The singer uses a liquid contour and a shimmery liquid blush and then uses a rosy highlighter on top of the blush, she says she is obsessed with blush, and even if she has a pimple she puts blush on top.
Madison uses eyeshadow to make her soft eyeliner. To set her makeup she goes with the same face mist from the beginning.
Emma Chamberlain: (2021)
The Youtuber starts her skincare with a mask she does 3 to 4 times a week (I don't agree with it because it is too much, you should do it 1 to 2 times a week). She uses a snail serum to restore her skin barrier and niacinamide, zinc, and tea tree to prevent acne.
Emma goes on her brows with clear mascara to brush them up and exfoliates her lips before applying her plumping gloss.
For her hair, she uses dry shampoo to give some volume and style it naturally.
Irina Shayk: (2020)
Irina starts her makeup with an oil-free moisturizer and taps it in, but doesn't rub it.
Then she applies foundation but only where she needs it, she doesn't put it all over the face (she also mixes colors to get the perfect shade).
The model uses a highlighting balm on her lips. She says she does her lip or eye, not the two in the daytime.
She uses a green eyeshadow and applies it with her fingers and keeps some products on her everyday purse to do a minimal look.
The supermodel uses rosy red lipstick as a blush and then uses a little bit on the lips. Irina uses a hair spray and a brow brush for her brows.
Because it is a day-to-night look she puts some red lipstick on her lips.
Olivia Culpo: (2020)
Olivia starts her day with water and her vitamins always.
After she cleans the skin she goes with an LED mask and then a face mask.
She uses whitening teeth products while she waits for the mask to dry. Then she uses exfoliating pads but only 2 times a week.
Then she goes with lots of serums (maybe too many), and she uses a healing serum, an HA serum, a brightening serum, and a calming serum.
Before her makeup, she uses some glow tanning drops and a glowy primer.
The model uses a setting spray right after foundation and concealer.
For her hair, she uses texturizing spray to style it naturally.
Lila Moss: (2022)
Once a week Lila uses an enzyme exfoliator and uses a stain gua sha after moisturizer.
She uses her mom's brand Cosmoss face mist to prime her skin and then goes with the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter. The model uses a dot technique for her liquid contour and then uses a tinted balm for her lips and cheeks.
Madelyn Cline: (2022)
The actress uses a clean makeup brush with a cleanser to clean her face and then uses brightening serums. She puts perfume on the back of her neck so people can smell it when she passes by. Madelyn goes back on her freckles with a freckle pen to highlight them as they get covered by the foundation.
Kourtney Kardashian: (2019)
Kourtney mixes a powder clarifying mask with honey as it has anti-inflammatory benefits. She uses a face mist after the serums and oil and before sunscreen, with the sunscreen that's left, she puts it on the back of her hands to protect them from aging.
She uses a powder bronzer and on top of that, she goes with a cream contour.
Gwyneth Paltrow: (2021)
The actress starts her morning routine with a protein smoothie and a body dry brush. After she uses a scrub (don't use it on dry skin, use it on damp skin), she puts on some eye patches and uses a vibrating tool to massage the face. She uses a very thick clean moisturizer on her face and clean sunscreen.
She says that drinking water, eating healthy, exercising, and getting daily fresh air are really important.
Gwyneth uses a stick foundation and a tinted balm on the cheeks, mascara, and lip gloss and that's it, she does very minimal makeup every day.
Selena Gomez: (2020 and 2021)
Selena uses a gentle cleanser, a gel moisturizer, and sunscreen every morning. She says that prioritizing self-care and taking care of her mental health is very important for her every day (as it should be). Selena highlights the fact that she gets lazy too and sometimes doesn't o her skincare routine (which is totally ok because we are all humans). The singer lights a candle and puts on some music to relax. She also uses a relaxing essential oil on her pulses.
At night before her makeup, she uses a hydrating serum and cucumber eye patches, and then a pore-diffusing primer.
The actress says it's important to put your foundation on the neck too.
She curls her lashes after putting mascara on (but don't do it you can break your lashes).
Selena uses bloating papers on her t-zone and then a glowy setting powder.
She finishes with matte lipstick, a gloss on top, and a face mist.
